2019 Race For Rest 5K FAQ’s

Where is the 2019 Race for Rest?
The 5K will start and finish at Monday Night Brewing‘s new West End location! Registration for the race will be in the parking lot with signage directing participants to start/finish lines.


What time does the 5K start?
9:00am; registration opens at 7:30a.m.


What time do I arrive on race day for the 5K?
5K: If you’ve already picked up your packet, you can arrive as late as 8:45am. If you are picking up your packet or registering on race day, please allow time and arrive by 8:30am at the very latest.


Can I pick up my packet early?
We have two options for early packet pickup:

1. You can pick up your packet and register on-site Thursday, October 24th 11am-7pm at Big Peach Running Co. – Midtown

Where do the race proceeds go?
All proceeds to the Furniture Bank in support of our vision for all individuals and families to have the furniture necessary to create a safe and secure environment that contributes to health and well-being.


What are the registration fees?
$25 through July 31
$30 August 1 – September 31
$35 October 1 – October 25
$40 Race Day


How do I register for the 5K?
You can register at www.Active.com


What is the policy on refunds of registration fees?
There will be no refunds of registration fees. The race will go on rain or shine; however, in the case of extreme inclement weather (lightning, tornados, etc.,) the Race for Rest will be canceled and rescheduled – if in doubt, please refer to our website (www.furniturebankatlanta.org).

What is the 5K race route?
The 2019 Race for Rest 5K is a certified Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. You can view it here.


Is the route stroller and dog-friendly?
Yes! Bring your furry and non-furry children to join in on the fun.


When can I pick up my race number and my t-shirt?

Can someone else pick up my race packet for me?
Yes, but you will need to sign a waiver if you have not done so in person or online.


Where can I see race results?
We will post race results on our website (www.furniturebankatlanta.org/events/race4rest) by end of day Monday, October 28. You can also find results at Active.com under our event listing.


Are there prizes?
YES! We will have prizes in all age groups, 3 deep.


Will the race be canceled if the weather is bad?

Where should I park?
There is FREE parking in the Monday Night Brewing parking lot!
