2016 Race For Rest 5K FAQ’s
Where is the 2016 Race for Rest?
The 5K will start and finish at Atlantic Station’s Central Park. Registration for the race will be in the park itself with signage directing participants to start/finish lines. NOTE: first two hours of parking in Atlantic Station’s parking deck are FREE.
What time does the 5K start?
8:00am; registration opens at 6:30a.m.
What time do I arrive on race day for the 5K?
5K: If you’ve already picked up you packet, you can arrive as late as 7:45am. Remember – roads will be closed on race day in Atlantic Station. If you are picking up your packet or registering on race day, please allow time and arrive by 7:30am at the very latest.
Where do the race proceeds go?
All proceeds to the Furniture Bank in support of our vision for all individuals and families to have the furniture necessary to create a safe and secure environment that contributes to health and well-being.
What are the registration fees?
$25 through September 10
$30 September 11 – 15 (Reg. closes Thursday September 15 at 6p) – however, you may also register at packet pick up on Friday, September 16 at Big Peach Midtown, 4-8pm
$35 Race Day
How do I register for the 5K?
What is the policy on refunds of registration fees?
There will be no refunds of registration fees. The race will go on rain or shine; however, in the case of extreme inclement weather (lightning, tornados, etc.,) the Race for Rest will be canceled and rescheduled – if in doubt, please refer to our website (www.furniturebankatlanta.org).

What is the 5K race route?
The 2016 Race for Rest 5K is a certified Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. View the course map.
When can I pick up my race number and my t-shirt?
Packet pick up will take place at Big Peach Midtown on Friday, September 16 from 4 until 8pm and on race day beginning at 6:30.
Can someone else pick up my race packet for me?
Yes, but you will need to sign a waiver if you have not done so in person or online.
Where can I see race results?
We will post race results on our website (www.furniturebankatlanta.org/events/race4rest) by end of day Monday, September 19. You can also find results at Active.com under our event listing.
Are there prizes?
YES! We will have prized in all age groups, 3 deep
Will the races be cancelled if the weather is bad?

Where should I park?
There is ample parking in the Atlantic Station parking decks and the first two hours are FREE. Park in section 2, 3, 6, or 7 (red and purple zones) to enter ground level near the park.
