How Do I Get Furniture?

The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta provides free furniture and household goods to individuals and families moving out of homelessness, living with HIV/AIDS, or fleeing domestic violence. If you are in need of furniture, please contact your caseworker or social worker and ask for a referral.

The Furniture Bank partners with over 300 agencies that are trained and approved to submit referrals. Clients are served on a referral basis ONLY. The Furniture Bank does not accept drop-ins. Please note that you will not be able to get an appointment for furniture from any of these organizations unless you are accepted as a client for the service(s) they provide in the community. Each agency has its own expectations and requirements for clients. You can search the list below by name or category (Children/Youth / Domestic Violence / Elderly / HIV/AIDS / Housing/Homelessness / Other).

If you are not connected with any of the Furniture Bank’s current partners but have a relationship with another non-profit or church you may ask them to sign up as a partner agency. Please direct them to the “How do I refer clients” section to take our online training.
